About Leanne
Pregnancy is a time to be
enjoyed and it is essential to be as healthy and relaxed as possible. Not everyone
has easy pregnancies and complementary therapies can be an option to be considered
when dealing with a variety of complaints such as nausea, constipation, insomnia,
high blood pressure, indigestion, cramp, diabetes, headaches, and baby in breech
position. Also, some therapies are beneficial in dealing with some of the psychological
issues that arise such as fear of labour, and can help to start labour and help
with pain relief during labour.
I have trained in many complementary therapies including reflexology, aromatherapy,
pregnancy and labour massage, and lymphatic drainage, and worked a lot with
women before, during and after pregnancy. I am a member of the NHS Directory
of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.
I attended the Homebirth group meetings during my third pregnancy and found
them to be fun, informative, inspirational, and most importantly of all, great
support.
Please feel free to contact me regarding any issues concerning complementary
therapies or if you want to know of any therapists in the area.
