When I became pregnant, I assumed that I would give birth in hospital using lots of pain relief....until my midwife suggested home birthing. I started trying to find out about it and soon realised how the birthing process is not a medical process, its one where bodies do what they are designed to do!

So, with my home birth booked, I embarked on what turned out to be a fantastic experience. I birthed Devon at home, quietly and calmly with no pain relief...a truly amazing, empowering experience
